Publications of the CHAE in print
Parallel to the publication of the Deltion, the Christian Archaeological Society publishes scholarly monographs and edited volumes. The course of its publications depended on its economic capabilities and on the broader historical framework, as a result it has not been continuous and regular. The beginning was marked by the ambitious plan to publish the corpus of the Christian inscriptions of Greece, which was envisioned and coordinated by Nikos A. Veis. Unfortunately, the outbreak of the Second World War permitted the publication of only one volume in 1941, the second one did not appear until 1970.
In 1972 the Society established the series Tetradia of Christian Archaeology and Art, which included nine titles until 2003. Also, it published individual monographs and collaborated with other institutions in joint publications (four until 2016).
