Membership of the Christian Archaeological Society
The Society has regular, corresponding and honorary members.
According to its charter, ordinary members are those resident in Greece, whereas corresponding members are those resident outside Greece. Distinguished scholars are elected as honorary members. The regular members assemble once a year at the Annual General Meeting.
Regular and corresponding members are obliged to contribute to the Society an annual subscription of 30 euros. On the contrary, honorary members have no monetary obligations. All members of the Society are elected by the Board.
Eligible for election as ordinary and corresponding members are persons with professional and research involvement in disciplines that fall within the Society's aims.
Interested parties should submit an application and brief CV with the relevant documents of proof to the secretariat of the Christian Archaeological Society (22 Vasilissis Sophias Ave, Athens 106 75 or by email: This email address is being protected from spambots. Scholars, Greek and foreign, whose work has made a fertile contribution to promoting Byzantine and Post-Byzantine Archaeology and Art, can be elected honorary members, after proposal by two members of the Society and the relevant decision by the Board.
